Our scan checks your website for:

The report shows detected tools at multiple levels. The scanner differentiates between:

• [1] Detection via source code analysis, with uncertainty or tool loading potentially only after consent
• [2] Detection via cookies, with minor uncertainties
• [3] Detection via network traffic analysis (certain loading processes may not be visible in your browser's developer console, but still occur)
• [4] Detection via consent request analysis. The tool is likely loaded only after consent
• [5] Detection via manual review (only with Enterprise-Check)

You will receive a detailed report with all problems found, their severity (critical, warning, hint) and concrete recommendations for action. With the Professional and Enterprise packages, you also receive prioritized solution suggestions and can use our support for inquiries.

Absolutely! We only scan your website from the outside (like a normal visitor) and do not store any sensitive data. Payment processing is securely handled via Klarna. All reports are transmitted encrypted.

Yes, you will automatically receive an invoice with VAT shown via email from use. For companies outside Germany with a valid VAT ID, we issue a net invoice using the reverse charge procedure on request.

We accept all Klarna payment methods: instant bank transfer, credit card, and Pay Later (invoice) as well as Paypal. Available options will be displayed during checkout. Please note that the pay-later option may have the longest processing time.

With the Basic package, you can save money if you agree to write a short testimonial (3-5 sentences) after the scan. This discount is one-time per customer and available for a limited time.

This is a map plugin that can be used instead of Google Maps. The advantage: unlike Google Maps, you do not need consent to display this interactive map. Normally, when using the map, a reference to dr-dsgvo.de must be provided. This requirement does not apply when purchasing the Professional or Enterprise Check.

When you purchase the Professional or Enterprise Check, you will receive a voucher for a discount on a webinar. Numerous webinars are offered on the topics of AI (basics, local/secure AI, proprietary AI systems) and data protection (basics, legally compliant websites). A dedicated training platform will soon be available where you can book a webinar and redeem your voucher. You will receive the voucher by email after purchase.

The Website-Check is offered by IT Logic GmbH (Germany) and is based on the Website-Check by Dr. DSGVO (Dr. Klaus Meffert). The software has been developed since 2017 (shortly before, the ECJ decided that IP addresses are personal data).
